RO: Am ales niste versuri de la Sex Pistols pentru titlul acestei postari pentru ca atunci cand m-am gandit la tinuta pentru evenimentul KillyS am vrut sa ma inspir din curentul punk. Asa ca am ales un tricou facut sa para vechi si cu gauri, Conversii, tinte si...un element neobisnuit, care aparent nu l-ai asocia niciodata cu pisele vestimentare ce le-am enumerat deja: o fusta delicata cu dantela.

Atunci cand m-am documentat in privinta stilului britanicilor, dupa cateva articole si multe poze de street style am realizat ca ei mereu adopta tinute neconventionale, cand am citit undeva despre asocierea unei rochii delicate cu bocanci, in cateva secunde s-a si conturat tinuta. As fi ales niste bocanci, dar cum se preconiza canicula in ziua evenimentului am mers pe "the next best thing": Converse.

Nu am eu tocmai picioarele adecvate pentru a ma avantaja combinatia (mai lungi, mai subtiri) dar m-am simtit foarte bine in tinuta si intr-un fel chiar m-am bucurat ca dress code-ul imi permitea incaltari atat de casual.

Bratara cu tinte imi place la nebunie, estea prietenului meu, dar mi-a dat-o atunci cand ne-am cunoscut pentru ca a vazut ca imi place atat de mult, unde mai pun ca imi este fixa pe incheietura. Aproape niciodata nu gasesc bratari care sa-mi fie fixe din cauza ca am incheieturile foarte subtiri.

Va place, vi se pare british tinuta? :)

EN: I thought that what better rhyme to name this outfit than one from the Sex Pistols because when I thought of this outfit for an event I attended with a specific dress code, British style to be more exact, the punk movement came to mind. So, an aged T-shirt, Converse and studs with a little twist from the lace skirt.

While researching British style online, before the event and after reading some articles, looking at street style pictures I remembered that people in Britain have a knack for unusual combinations and as I read about the combination of delicate dresses with boots, this outfit popped into my head. Although I couldn't wear boots due to the incredibly hot weather announced for the day in question. So I went for the next best thing: my pair of Converse.

My legs don't really work with the combination (like they're not long and thin) but I felt good in this outfit plus, when you have the chance to wear such a comfortable pair of shoes for an event you take it, or at least I did. :)

And the bracelet is special to me, originally it was my boyfriend's but when we met and I saw it, and he saw that I liked it so much he gave it to me, it's the perfect size for my little wrists, a rare thing if you know what I mean.
