RO: Aseară am constatat că nu mai reușesc să scot mai nimic din crema mea Earth Sourced iar cu ocazia asta mi-am adus aminte că eu aveam un review pregătit pentru ea și m-am gândit să-l termin într-un final. :)
Este ultimul produs din sondajul făcut acum vreo 2 luni (nu stiu daca il mai tineti minte), a fost crema pe care am folosit-o în ultimele luni: Earth Sourced Antioxidant-Enriched Natural Moisturizer. Dacă nu știați, gama Earth Sourced a apărut anul acesta și conține 3 produse: cleanser, loțiune tonică și cremă, toate având 98% din ingrediente de origine naturală. Mi s-a părut interesant faptul că Paula a încercat, prin lansarea acestei game, să câștige pe planul celor care sunt fani ai produselor naturale (a nu se confunda cu bio).

Pentru mine, dacă o cremă este aproape 100% naturală sau nu, nu este atât de important pe cât faptul să conțină toate ingredientele necesare pielii, să fie ambalată la tub. Faptul că am ales crema, a fost de curiozitate și crezând că va fi bună pentru mine, acum nu mai amintesc de ce nu am optat eu pentru Skin Balancing, dar nu mai contează.
Dar dacă sunteți adeptele produselor naturale, această cremă este un adevărat răsfăț pentru ten, dacă aruncați un ochi veți găsi numeroase ingrediente bune pentru ten cum ar fi uleiurile de borago, de luminița serii (evening pimrose), de răpită (canola), de măceșe (rose hip) și extracte cum ar fi cele de zmeură, merișoare sau de goji (lycium barbarum).
Spre deosebire de celelalte produse pe care le-am folosit, îmi place ambalajul cremei foarte mult, arată foarte bine, plasticul nu s-a murdărit deloc, deși a fost plimbată de multe ori. Spre deosebire de celelalte creme ce vin în ambalaj asemănător (Skin Balancing, Moisture Boost și Skin Recovery), nu trebuie deșurubat capacul ci pur și simplu deschis, mult mai ușor de folosit. Textura ei este una ușoară, se întinde foarte ușor și o cantitate mică ajunge pe o suprafață mare, din acest punct de vedere mi s-a părut economică și tubul de 60 ml m-a ținut 4 luni și-un pic. :)
În cea mai mare parte a timpului am fost mulțumită de această cremă. Hidratarea este ok, se menține de-a lungul zilei, pielea se simte foarte fină după ce o folosesc, am folosit-o în jurul ochilor și n-am avut probleme. Roșeața a rămas la minim și de fapt, știu ce m-a făcut s-o aleg, faptul că e recomandată persoanelor cu piele sensibilă și cu rozacee, pe lângă asta m-am gândit că e un produs despre care nu s-a vorbit pe noi prin blogosferă și ar fi interesant.
Ce nu-mi place la această crema este faptul că după ce o aplic, indiferent cât de puțină cremă aș aplica, indiferent cât de subțire e stratul, la scurt timp trebuie să încep să mă frec pe față pentru că se fac "scamute", că și cum te-ai descuama, doar că nu e pielea, e o peliculă lăsat de cremă. Vorbind cu Patricia (acum ceva mai mult timp) despre asta, mi-a zis că aceeași problemă o are ea cu loțiunea tonică.
Și în cele din urmă, deși scrie că Earth Sourced este o cremă adresată tuturor tipurilor de ten și deși conține ingrediente emoliente, nu mi s-a părut că a făcut față atunci când tenul a suferit de pe urma vântului rece (la munte) și se uscase, iar pentru tenul gras cu siguranță nu e ok, pe lângă emolienți, cremă în sine lasă față puțin mai lucioasă/dewy.
Deși per ansamblu cremă a fost bună, nu o voi recumpara și mă voi reorentia către altceva, poate lăudată RESIST Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator sau poate Skin Balancing Invisible Finish Moisture Gel. :D

EN: Last night I noticed that I'm unable to squeeze anymore moiturizer out of my Earth Spurced one and that reminded me that there's a draft with a review that's awaiting to be finished. :)
So after a survey I did a couple of months ago, the Earth Sourced was the least voted and so it's the last Paula's Choice product I will be talking about, for now. If you don't already know this, the Earth Sourced products were launched earlier this year and they're 3 products in total: cleanser. toner and moisturizer, all containing 98% natural ingredients. It was interesting to see that Paula wanted to maybe attract the consumers that prefer to use natural products (do not confuse this with bio products).

If a skin care product is natural or not is not that important to me as other facts like: does it have all the necessary ingredients for the skin, does it come in a good packaging (i.e tube, not jar), so me choosing this moisturizer had almost nothing to do with the fact that it is almost 100% natural.
Compared with my other Paula's Choice products, the packaging of the Earth Sourced moisturizer is a great one, with green to remind you that it is a natural product, the plastic is nice, it didn't get dirty even though I've carried it with me many times. Also, a difference to the other moisturizers that come is similar packaging (the Skin Balancing, Moisture Boots and Skin Recovery), you don't have to unscrew the lid, you just pop it open, way easier and more convenient. The texture is a really light one, easy to spread and you only need a little amount of moisturizer for the whole face and this is why it lasted me more than 4 months.
Mainly, I was very pleased with the product. It moisturizes well and it last all day and the skin feels very soft after using the product. Also, it's good for the eye area as well, it kept my redness at a minimum and this reminds me of the reason I chose to get this moisturizer: it's recommended for those with rosaceea and I figured that nobody in the Romanian blogosphere has talked about it yet, it's shooting 2 rabbits with 1 bullet.
What I don't like about this moisturizer is the fact that after I apply it, even if it's a small amount, I then have to go and rub my face because there would be a thin layer on my skin created by the moisturizer and it would peel away. It's kind of like you're skin is flaky, though it's not you're skin and after a chat with a fellow Paula's Choice user, I found out that she has the same problem with the Earth Sourced Toner.
Finally, even though the Earth Sourced Moisturizer is recommended for all skin types and though it has some emollient ingredients, I felt it didn't cope when my skin got dry (due to the cold winds we had in our trip to the mountain side) and also I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin, because of its emollients and because it has a dewy finish.
Although I mainly like the Earth Sourced Moisturizer, I won't be buying it again and I will be looking towards others, like maybe the high-praised RESIST Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator or maybe Skin Balancing Invisible Finish Moisture Gel. :D

Mie mi s-a intamplat faza cu scamutele de la Clear Skin Hydrator. Ma gandeam ca nu o aplic um trebuie, insa am observat ca mi se faceau de fiecare data, deci e exclusa varianta asta.

ReplyDeleteam o mostra din aceasta crema, nu am incercat-o pana acum... dintre toate cremele hidratante de la PC, cel mai mult imi place cea din gama Hydralight. pup:)
ReplyDeletePe mine nu m-a tentat aceasta, nu stiu de ce, dar ce aiurea ca face scame! Eu cu Clear Skin Hydrator nu am patit asta niciodata (ce-i drept aplic doar seara, cu miscarile acelea aratate de Corina la intalnire, nu circulare).

Si eu ma inteleg tare bine cu Clear Skin Hydrator, sunt deja la al doilea tub si nu mi-a ramas nimic pe fata de la ea, asa ca ti-o recomand. Scamute am facut doar de la BHA gel cand puneam mai mult decat trebuie.

ReplyDeleteMs. pt. review, mi se pare interesanta crema, chiar daca tenul meu e destul de gras in zona T. Acum folosesc CSH si mi se intampla sa faca scamute daca aplic peste el combinatia mea de uleiuri. Cred ca e din cauza siliconului pe care-l contine, nu merge combinat silicon cu ulei (chiar recent a postat Wayne Goss un video pe tema asta, despre fdt).
ReplyDeleteOricum, la urmatoarea comanda pun si o mostra din ES, am inceput sa folosesc retin-a si simt nevoia de mai multa emoliere in serile in care-l aplic.
Hmmm...this looks like great product to try out. I have been long time searching for a moisturizer that works well on my skin. I will give this a try and see how it works on my sensitive skin.
