EN: Not quite an usual post, but it could be, just bare with me, maybe you'll like it and from time to time I can post some more recipes that I use and love.
So, this morning I spoiled my dad a little bit and tried a very simple but delicious recipe that I've learned from Gordon Ramsay (god bless his "fuck me"s, it's never gonna be the same again ;) ) and thought about sharing it with you. It's very simple recipe, but delicious and highly nutritious, anyone can do it at home.
Here is the recipe for mushrooms (fresh, frozen) on toast: http://www.caterersearch.com/Articles/15/05/2009/327616/st-georges-mushrooms-on-toast-by-gordon-ramsay.htm; it's from Gordon Ramsay's book "Great British pub food" (and I love pub British pub food :D). I've added a little twist to it: instead of using a toaster, I've coated the bread with a touch of olive oil, just enough to cover the whole surface, and fried it until golden in a hot pan, I prefer it this way and in my opinion a more delicious version. I've also added a very quick tutorial for poached eggs (you need to poach them in boiling water for 3 minutes, Gordon's timing), again I've added a personal touch and used the mixer just to make sure I whisked the water thoroughly ;;)
The deliciousness of this recipe is all about cutting into that perfectly poached egg, getting all the yolk goodness into the mushrooms and toast.
What do you think about the recipe, will you try it?
PS: My dad loved the food, as for pictures, the food just vanished before I could take any :))
